Andrica “Tshidi” Lekganyane

Andrica Lekganyane, a Property Management Specialist and CEO of Area Group Property Services and Area Homes, is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of experience in the real estate industry. Holding an Honours degree in Property Valuation and Management and an MSc in Real Estate, she is also a Certified Property Manager accredited by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Her extensive qualifications include various other real estate certifications and executive development programs.

As the head of Area Group Property Services, Andrica oversees a diverse range of property services, from Shopping Center Management and Body Corporate/HOA Support to Broking (Sales and Rentals) and Residential Property Management. Additionally, her company Area Homes focuses on the sale of beds, linen, and complementary products.

Andrica’s professional journey includes significant contributions to managing assets totaling over R50 billion in the commercial real estate space. Her career path has encompassed leading roles in banks, property management giants, state-owned enterprises (SOE), and local government.

Notably, through Area Group Property Services, Andrica has played a pivotal role in empowering both graduates and non-graduates across South Africa with real estate knowledge, on-the-job experience, and training. The company, which currently employs aspiring real estate professionals from various backgrounds, has become a platform for nurturing talent and fostering growth within the industry.

Beyond her corporate endeavors, Andrica is a former board member of the Real Estate Business Owners of South Africa and The Next Generation Advisory Board at the Institute of Real Estate Management, showcasing her commitment to industry leadership and development.
